NEW DELHI: (Daily Dunya) – Indian author Kamal Chavara has on Tuesday been arrested for allegedly disrespecting Indian national anthem on Facebook, reported Dunya News.
The author has been arrested in a treason case for allegedly disrespecting the national anthem on Facebook.
According to details, Kamal Chavara, an author from South Indian state of Kerala, was arrested by police upon receiving complaints from the Youth wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Chavara had shared an excerpt from his book on Facebook that allegedly disrespected Indian national anthem.
