Summary Children living in Indian state of Madhya Pradesh are facing major food crisis.

NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – Weapon frenzy India has put a blind eye on its large number of malnourished children.

According to a recent survey, children living in Indian state of Madhya Pradesh are facing major food crisis as 42 percent under the age of five years are malnourished .

Atleast 177 malnourished children of District Shoeper are admitted in a government hospital among which 60 are in critical condition.

On the whole, at least 461 children are malnourished in the district.

According to National Family Health Survey (NFHS) of 2015/2016, atleast 42 percent of children under five years of age in Shoeper are malnourished whereas adequate food is only available to five percent.
