High traffic deaths make roads in India dangerous, unsafe

NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has declared India’s roads as most dangerous and unsafe.

Last year, atleast 1,50,000 people have died in traffic accidents in the neighbouring country whereas a 50% increase has been seen in such deaths every year.

Most accident happened in Mumbai where violation of traffic rules is open and vivid.

According to the report, the reason behind traffic violations is daily increase in the number of cars.

In Mumbai, 60% of those who die in car accident are pedestrians.

The report also suggests that engineering defects, risky turns and roads without reeling are biggest causes behind accidents in mountainous routes.
