NEW DELHI: (Dunya News) – Indian film star Aamir Khan has earned support even from the parliamentarians in India as Mehbboba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah also spoke up in PK star’s support. “If I say my kids aren’t safe in Delhi, does it mean I’m against Delhi?” questioned Kashmiri leader Mehbooba Mufti, reported Dunya News.
Although extremist Hindus kept inciting people to violence against Aamir Khan, even the Indian politicians are openly supporting Aamir Khan now. After Indian National Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee, Kashmiri leaders Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah have also spoken up for Aamir Khan against the hateful statements.
People’s Democratic Party President, and member Lok Sabha (House of Peoples), Mehbooba Mufti raised a befitting question over the people telling Aamir Khan to leave India. “Even I consider myself unsafe in Delhi since Nirbhaya case (gang rape case, occurred in Delhi 2012). Will I also be considered anti-India now?” said Mufti. She said that nobody had the right to tell Muslims to quit India for Pakistan.
Even the former puppet Chief Minister of Indian Occupied Kashmir Farooq Abdullah spoke in favour of ‘Mr. Perfect’. “Aamir’s statement was distorted to do negative propaganda against him”, he said.
Not only are the statements coming now in Aamir’s support but one of his fans also lost her life due to the same conflict. A 24-year-old woman Jabalpur had a exchange of harsh words on the subject with her husband after which she committed suicide.

The announcement came during the protest of Sena outside hotel MBD Radisson Blu in Ludhiana where Aamir Khan is currently staying as he is camping in Ludhiana for the shooting of his upcoming movie, Dangal.
During the protest, the extremist party Shiv Sena’s workers allegedly used derogatory language and burnt the actor’s photographs.
Rajeev Tandon, Punjab chairman, Shiv Sena, claimed that “any person who will slap Aamir Khan will get Rs 1 lakh for each slap from the Shiv Sena”.
Tandon said, “We give an opportunity to the manager and employees of the hotel and also the team of his film to slap Aamir and get Rs 1 lakh from us. The courageous and patriotic persons who will slap Aamir Khan in Ludhiana will get Rs 1 lakh reward per slap from us.”
Manav Inder Singh Guram, manager, marketing and communications, MBD Group, “We have complete coordination with the police and they are being updated on the situation. The hotel employees have also been told to remain extra vigilant to avoid any suspicious person reaching near Aamir’s room. The actor was not in the hotel when the protest took place. The number of police personnel at the hotel has been increased from four to eight.”
Rupinder Kaur Sran, assistant commissioner of police (Ludhiana west), assured that a quick response team (QRT) having of 15 policemen on duty along with heavy contingent of personnel from Sarabha Nagar police station, is on continuous patrolling near the hotel.
Meanwhile, sources said Aamir would leave Ludhiana by late Wednesday or Thursday morning.
Earlier, speaking at the eighth edition of the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards, Aamir Khan stated that he was alarmed at the growing communal tensions in the country and his wife was worried about children’s security. He said that his wife had suggested him to leave India.
"When I go home and talk to Kiran (Aamir s wife), for the first time she says, Should we move out of India? " Khan said.
This statement angered the extremists so much that they came out on roads, protesting against Aamir Khan’s harmless statement, and surrounded his house.
