BEIJING, June 10, 2015 (AFP) - Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi arrived in China on Wednesday afternoon, an AFP journalist said, making her first visit at a time of cooling relations between the once closely-bonded nations.
The 69-year-old democracy champion was seen getting into a black vehicle after her arrival at Beijing s main international airport. She is visiting alongside a delegation of National League for Democracy party members following an invitation from China s Communist Party.
