Obama offers condolences to Turkey after loss of life in aid flotilla

US President Barack Obama confessed that Gaza is in need of urgent help and coordinated humanitarian assistance, he stressed Israel's security should not be undermined.According to a statement from the White House President Obama spoke to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and expressed deep condolences over the deaths on board a Turkish flagged ship that was assaulted by Israeli commandos.Obama also affirmed the United States position in support of a credible, impartial, and transparent investigation of the facts surrounding this tragedy. Obama also stressed on the importance of a comprehensive peace agreement which establishes an independent and viable Palestinian state.US backs transparent investigations: Hillary US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that US backs an Israeli probe of an Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound ship, but that it must be credible, transparent and impartial.Hillary was holding a joint press conference in Washington with Romanian counterpart where she said a full scale inquiry into the raid must be conducted.
