JALANDHAR (Web Desk) – At least two police officers along with two women on Saturday arrested by Nakodar police for extorting money from the Jalandhar-based youth by threatening to involve him in a trafficking case.

According to details, the youth visited the Dargah at Nakodar where he was confronted by two women. They took him to a house where he was black mailed by one of the woman to be accused of woman trafficking. They called on two cops, who took pictures of youth along with the girl.

Further, the boy was threatened and cops took all the money from him. Police sources said that cop and the women extorted Rs 5,000 and a gold chain from him.

During the investigation of the case, police arrested Rani, head constable Satnam Sing and home guard constable Joga Singh.

Sections 384 and 120B of IPC have been imposed on the culprits.
