KOLHAPUR (Web Desk) - Kolhapur Zilla Parishad s (ZP) education department has presented a report on Wednesday stating that over 900 primary and secondary schools have not been given recognition for academic year 2014-15 yet.
While talking to Smita Gaud, an educational officer at ZP, she said that these schools had not provided their proper documents and administrative record whereas their recognition may be cancelled by the authorities in case of not submitting documents on time.
Answering to the statement of Smita Gaud, school administration added that any one can inspect any time and can also call on for the documents.
Report has also revealed that about 333 private primary schools are in district whereas 830 secondary schools, 134 primary schools and 824 secondary schools have also been reported.
Moreover, the school administration has also staged a small rally against the government for not recognising their schools.
