A landslide has derailed a train in near the city of Bolzano in northern Italy, killing at least nine people and injuring about 30 others. Rescue workers struggled to release trapped people from the derailed train in the aftermath of the accident.According to reports the landslide which derailed the train had been caused by a burst irrigation pipe causing mud, rocks and branches to come rushing down on top of it.Rescue workers struggled to secure the carriages and get access to the trapped passengers. Emergency services said the death toll could rise as several of those injured were in a serious condition following the peak-time accident. The black box has been pulled from the wreckage.
