Eurostar said its passenger rail service between Paris and London may partially resume on Tuesday morning if test runs on trains go well but that normal service would not resume before Christmas. Nicolas Petrovic, Eurostar chief operating officer, made the announcement at a press conference called after traveler outrage at the three-day stoppage blamed on cold weather. Tens of thousands of travelers have been left stranded by the cancellation of services on one of the busiest weeks of the year for travelers in the run-up to the Christmas break.
