Summary
Foreign Secretary David Miliband has urged his Iranian counterpart to make clear what Tehran planned to do with the five British yachtsmen detained by Iran, who were arrested a week ago. The UK said that Iran's failure to explain why they were seized by the navy was of increasing concern. In a telephone conversation with the Iran's foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki, Mr Miliband called for the speedy release of the men, who are thought to be held on the island of Sirri in the Gulf on November 25.
