College collapses tarnish Australias reputation

Thousands of international students turned up for class in Australia on Friday to locked doors after four bankrupt private colleges in Sydney and Melbourne owned by the Global Campus Management Group closed overnight. Local media reported teachers were sacked Thursday night, but no-one had told the students of the closures. Upset students crowded outside the college entrances in Melbourne and shouted for answers.Global Campus Management Group, which owns the colleges was put under voluntary administration on Thursday.
