Somali pirates threaten to kill Spanish hostages

Somali pirates have threatened to kill three crew members taken hostage from a Spanish fishing vessel if two suspected pirates being held in Spain are not freed. The first mate of the vessel said, Yes, as I was told, if in three days, if in three days, they don't start doing something, they will kill the three that are on land and they will take, away to land, three more. That's what they told us at one point yesterday. The Spanish navy captured two Somalis in the Indian Ocean shortly after pirates overran the tuna boat Alakrana on October 2 and took its 36 crew hostage. The two suspects are set to face trial in Spain on charges of terrorism and robbery.
