A bomb blast on Monday during a sit-in protest in southern Nepal killed four, injuring at least 10, local media reported.Local media quoting police said the bomb went off at Ramanand Chowk in Mithila, some 250 km (155 miles) southeast of Kathmandu, when Mithila State Struggle Committee was staging the demonstration demanding a separate state in the new constitution.Authorities said three people were killed in the blast, while another died later in hospital, adding that about 10 people were injured and airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.Some residents near the explosion were injured while heading towards the blast site.When I was shaving, I heard the sound of the blast. While going to the (blast) site I injured my leg, said an injured man, Ram Babu Jha.Local media said no one has claimed responsibility for the incident.
