Eighteen people were killed and eight others were injured in a road accident in northwest Chinas Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Monday morning, local police said.The accident happened at 7:08 this morning when an Iveco van collided with a truck in Wangtuan Township of Tongxin County, local county government sources said.Local firefighters and public security departments quickly organized rescue forces and the injured were immediately rushed to local hospitals for medical treatment.The cause of the collision is under investigation.
