Summary Two dogs on an airport runway in Alaska's capital city delayed the landing of an Airlines flight.

The plane had to abort its initial attempt and circle around before it could land at Juneau International Airport.Deputy Airport Manager Patty deLaBruere said that Flight 64 from Anchorage was arriving when two black Labrador retrievers were spotted on the runway.Chava Lee of the Gastineau Humane Society says an animal control officer caught one of the dogs. Another dog matching the description was found in the area, but officials werent sure if it was the right dog.The owner of the dog caught on the runway is out of town, and the animal was in someone elses care. Lee says the dogs owner will be cited. Its unknown how the canines got to the runway.
