While the two officers claimed that they did not hear the radio call, but later it was discovered by the DICVS that they heard the officers responding to the situation on the radio call but agreed to ignore the call anyway.
The recordings showed both officers enjoying the game, paying no heed to the on going robbery. Mitchell yelled in excitement “got em" after catching the Snorlax and then saying "don t run away, don t run away," totally indulged in the game and the other officer Lozano also contributed in the game conversation saying "I got you a new Pokemon today, dude. The guys are going to be so jealous.”
