Diver sets world record by holding breath underwater for 24 minutes

(Dunya News) – A Croatian diver has broken his own world record by holding his breath underwater for 22 minutes and 33 seconds.
54-year-old Budimir Buda Sobat was already the Guinness World Record holder.
Sobat hyperventilated on pure oxygen before performing this record attempt. He said, “I was inspired to break my own record by my daughter Saša, 20, who has cerebral palsy, autism and epilepsy."
