Indian monkey becomes headache for Bahawalnagar administration
BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) - An Indian monkey released from the custody of the wildlife department three days ago had become a pain in the neck for local administration of Bahawalnagar.
According to details, the Indian monkey, who was released from by the wildlife department in Bahawalnagar three days ago, leaped around on the roofs of various shops and houses in the city. The administration kept trying to catch the primate with traditional nets, sticks and ropes but to no avail.
After much frustration and trying to capture the monkey for three days but failing, the rescue and wildlife department was brought in to rein in the monkey.
Wildlife Department Supervisor Nazar Abbas said the monkey would now be shifted to Bahawalpur Zoo.
