Family faces problem in making official documents due to no fingerprints
DHAKA (Dunya News) – Four generations of a family in Bangladesh have a rare condition Adermatoglyphia which means they don’t have fingerprints.
According to details, fingerprints are necessary for biometric documentation including identity cards, driving licenses and passports in Bangladesh due to which this family faces immense difficulties.
However, 22-year-old Apu Sarkar and his brother Amal have received their national IDs after submitting a medical certificate. Their ID cards have been made by using other biometric data like retina scan and facial recognition.
