Over 1 million mongooses to be killed to prevent coronavirus spread
COPENHAGEN (Dunya News) – The Danish government has decided to kill over 1 million mongooses after a series of coronavirus pandemic was observed among the animals.
The decision was taken following United Nations Institute for Agriculture report that COVID-19 is spreading from a mink farm in the northern Region of Jutland.
"We have continuously launched initiatives to manage and contain the spread of infection," Mogens Jensen, the Danish Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries said.
