Acanthaspis petax can carry as many as 20 dead ants at a time.

(Web Desk) – Nasty-looking insect Acanthaspis petax, a member of Reduviidae family, wears its victims’ carcasses as camouflage.

According to details, the inset traps its prey and pieces it with poisonous saliva, releasing an enzyme that dissolves tissue.

Acanthaspis petax can carry as many as 20 dead ants at a time. It binds them together with a sticky excretion into a cluster.
