Mother digs 35-foot tunnel to free son from jail
The woman was able to keep this up for three weeks until she was eventually found and arrested.
(Dunya News) – A Ukrainian mother single-handedly dug her convicted son a 35-feet-long undergound tunnel to help him escape from the jail.
The 51-year-old woman rented a house located near the jail in Zaporizhia, in south-east Ukraine and started digging the ground by using shovels and pickaxes.
The woman stayed indoors all the day so that locals wouldn’t recognize her as an outsider, but at the night, she used to arrive at the dig site on a silent electric scooter to dig the tunnel.
She was somehow able to keep this up for three weeks until she was eventually found and arrested.
