Bling it on: Sparkling Crimea car stops traffic

(Reuters) - He’s Crimea’s very own Rhinestone Cowboy but instead of a horse, jeweller Pyotr Chernovsky has a car.
And it’s not just any regular car. It’s a cabriolet decked out in 400,000 pieces of rhinestone.
It took him half a year to create a very shiny car that stops traffic in the capital Sevastapol.
Chernovsky says it was a labour of love which almost destroyed him.
"It was a hard job, really hard, in the end I hated those rhinestones to be honest. It took lots of time, more than planned. I could not give up. It turned out to be a magnificent cabriolet," Chernovsky beamed.
The interior of the car matches the outside - including a studded steering wheel and the gear stick.
Chernovsky plans to sell his car, which he says could be used for photo sessions or to simply show off.
Anyone interested will have to shell out 1,000,000 roubles (15,750 USD).
