Rare illness causes teenager to fall into slumber for two months

(Dunya News) – A teenager was diagnosed with rare illness Kleine-Levin syndrome that causes her to fall into a slumber for two months
17-year-old Sharik Tovar, who has been dubbed as real-life Sleeping Beauty, often loses her memory after she wakes up.
Approximately, 40 cases of such illness have been reported around the world so far.
Sharik’s mother Marleny Tovar told, “After a 48-day sleeping episode in June last year she lost her memory temporarily. She asked me who I was."
