KRABI PROVINCE (Reuters) - Rescuers braved a call to capture a king cobra in Thailand’s tourist district of Krabi.
The rescuers from Krabi Pitakpracha Foundation fought for around one hour to capture the four-metre-long adult king cobra found near a shopping district.
On a Facebook post, the team said that they had to enter a sewer longer than 30 meters, and that they faced difficulty due to the sensitivity of this snake.
The captured snake weighing 15 kilograms was later relocated to a forest reserve.
