Racing waiters balance speed and service in Argentina
Waiters rushed down the 1.8 km, or about one-mile track on Avenida de Mayo for cash and prize.
ARGENTINA (Reuters) - Courtesy, friendliness and speed are some of the traits of a good server. And this group of Argentine waiters came to Buenos Aires to test one to its extreme - speed.
They’re from the country’ top hotels and restaurants. Dressed in their uniform and armed with a loaded tray -- they rushed down the 1.8 kilometer, or about one mile track on Avenida de Mayo for cash and prizes.
And any contestant can tell you that it’s not an easy balancing act.
