Toothbrush recovered from man's intestine after 20 years

BEIJING (Dunya News) – Doctors from southern Chinese hospital removed a 14-centimetre-long toothbrush from a man’s small intestine which he swallowed 20 years ago.

51-year-old man surnamed Li was admitted to the hospital for abdominal pain after which the toothbrush was recovered from him.

Sources told, “Li had swallowed the toothbrush in a suicidal attempt 20 years ago. Feeling no discomfort after the failed suicide, he went on with his life and put aside the embarrassing experience.”
