Indian man grows 40 mango varieties on rooftop

KERALA (Dunya News) – A Kerala resident has grown almost 40 kinds of mangoes on his rooftop, catching the attraction of agriculture sector.
The man said “Four-foot tall mango trees are planted in 200-litre scrap containers which have gravel, mud and basic fertilizers in them.” It takes 10 minutes to water them for the whole day as they do not require much water, he added.
Joseph said, “I earn from about Rs 600-Rs 4,000 for each mango plant I sell depending on its variety.”
