Change in habit makes American lady lose 136 kg weight

Dunya News

Lexi made a healthy routine with exercise 5 days a week.

(Web Desk) - “When there is a will there s a way”, this proverb says a lot and an interesting example associated to this saying has even much to say.

In the present era, when our lifestyle changes have made us ruin our health, obesity is one of the major problems causing disturbance to a large number of people across the globe.

#transformationtuesday -312lbs with diet and exercise. My name is Lexi and when I got married I weighed 485lbs. Finding a dress was near impossible, bridal shops were mean to me, and I searched countless stores. However I refused to settle just because of my size and to not walk down the aisle feeling any way other than beautiful. I wanted to feel like a princess that day, and despite the struggles I faced finding a dress in a 34W - I did. There isnt anything I would change about that day and I felt beautiful no matter what size. Never let anyone make you feel any less because you re not a size 0. We are all beautiful in our own way and deserve to feel so. Speak nicely to yourself because you re always listening! #weightloss #bride #wedding #plussize #effyourbeautystandards #weddingdress #weddingday #plussizebride #weightlossjourney #fitfam #fedupfam #jcpenny #lanebyant #davidsbridal #weddinghair #marriage #fattofit #obesetobeast #gym #transformation

However, if we have by and large so many examples of people suffering from obesity, there are a number of motivational stories as well to get back to normal life. Here is the one to let you live again as physically fit person.

Sometimes we ignore our habits which can be the cause of any health disorder and the same happened with an American lady named Lexi Reed whose weight was as much as 220 kg at the beginning of the year 2016.

Lexi changed only one of her habits and it made her drop 136 kg of her weight. Isn’t it amazing? The question is how she actually made it turn into something possible.

#motivationmonday to living a 485lb life. I want you to know if you re struggling that there is hope and you re not alone. I want you to know that just like you for 25 years I tried to lose weight, only to feel like a failure everytime. I questioned if I would ever change or die at a early age because I couldn t get a grip on eating healthy or my emotional overeating. I suffered from fatigue, shortness of breath, joint pain, and even chest pain occasionally I feared could be a heart attack. I struggled to tie my shoes, fit in my car, got kicked off rollercoasters, broke office chairs at work, couldn t fit in in restaurant booths, missed out on many activities with my husband/friends due to my size, questioned if I d ever have a family in the future, barely fit in my college desk, couldn t walk long hardly at the store, and every day my weight kept me a prisoner in my own body. I never want to forget those moments I struggled because they motivate me every single day. To the person struggling - I was just like you when I decided I was #fedup and ready to fight. Join me in the fight of your life. Lexi Reed took her interesting story to Instagram where she told that her body was gaining around 6000 calories on daily basis. She used to eat fast food and loved to munch on fried stuff.

She told that being in love with the fast food, she used to have it in all three meals of the day and along with that Lexi kept on having snacks like biscuits, soft drinks and other such things.

This routine made her continuously gain weight and when she happened to reach at 220 kg, her physical condition began to deteriorate.

Getting enough with the obese looks, she committed to change herself in January 2016 for which she had to say goodbye to fast food forever. She started eating healthy homemade food and quit the use of soft drinks.

Lexi made a healthy routine with exercise 5 days a week and later on joined the gym to make this effort even more effective. It took time but it was worth waiting for in order to look smart. Soon she got used to the new healthy routine and began to enjoy every phase of transformation.

She used to have boiled eggs in breakfast, fish and salad in lunch whereas chicken sandwich and sweet potato made her relish a healthy dinner. Apart from that, she munched on almonds to subside the out of routine hunger.
