Museum visit remedy prescribed for the ill

(Dunya News) – It is very common that the doctors advise numerous heavy dose medicines to treat patient’s illness. These medicines, after providing patients with temporary relief, turn out to be detrimental to health due to many side effects on patient s health. However, a free remedy of treatment is now under consideration following which instead of taking medicines, a person will have to visit museum.
According to the report, a project is being considered in Montreal, city of Canada which will help in finding out ways of treating patients suffering from different diseases, by inclining them towards arts and culture as part of cure through therapeutic activities. Museum Director Nathalie Bondil is the founder of this project.
Doctors organization of Montreal in collaboration with Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is trying to work on such measures under which they can prescribe their patients to visit museum. According to the organizers of this project, it is the only first phase for treatment of patients and later on art therapies will also be introduced in this regard.
