Summary The protests against the government in Bahrain have been going on for quite some time but this time the students started rather an odd protest.
Hundreds of students took to the streets on donkeys and donkey carts and headed towards the Pearl Square in the capital city of Manama. The students demanded constitutional reforms and demanded the government quit.The king of Bahrain pardoned the political prisoners, brought a change in the cabinet, and increased the housing allowance. He has also advised the prince of Bahrain to start negotiations with opposition to avoid a crisis.
