(Web Desk) – A 14-year-old from Ireland who is also an addict of FIFA spent the entire monthly salary of his mother while playing the video game and purchasing points.
The Cork woman had gifted her son the FIFA 18 game for his PlayStation by using the debit card of her bank account. Her son was so addicted to playing the video game that he couldn’t resist purchasing bonus points.
The boy has claimed that there were no alerts in which the game warned him of charging money for the points. His mother got to know about her empty bank account when she tried to withdraw her salary and the Christmas bonus. She was informed about that there are insufficient funds in the account.
The woman has warned all parents to learn from her case. Irish Mirror reported her saying, “I get paid monthly so my pay cheque went in last Friday for four weeks wages,” persisting that the game owners took her entire month’s pay out of the debit card.
When she contacted PlayStation about her case, they responded that there is nothing that they can do now. Her son is also upset with his actions and hasn’t even got out of the bed. “He has spoiled the Christmas for his family. I can t even get him to school,” his mother told.
