Indian woman disfigures lover's face to disguise him as her husband
The odd incident occurred in Nagarkurnool, Telangana state
INDIA (Dunya News) – An odd incident has occurred in Indian Telangan state where a 34 year old woman named Swathi Reddi has been arrested by the police for murdering her husband and then disfiguring her lover’s face with acid to disguise him as her husband after surgery.
The police officials told that they will arrest her lover Rajesh Ajjakolu once he is discharged from hospital.
The odd incident occurred in Nagarkurnool. According to police, 34 year old nurse Swathi was having an extra martial affair with Rajesh Ajjakolu who is a physiotherapist by profession.
However, they were spotted together and her husband accused her of infidelity. To hide the incident and to get her husband out of the way from their affair, Swathi hatched an odd yet gruesome plan with her boyfriend Rajesh.
The police told that Mrs Reddy confessed of injecting her husband with anesthesia on the night of November 27 and then killed him with iron rod with the assistance of her boyfriend. They burned his body to evade identification and dumped it in a nearby forest.
Afterwards, Swathi smeared the face of her lover Rajesh with acid to disfigure his face and then screamed and gathered people and told them that four people had broken in her home and attacked her husband with acid.
Rajesh was then admitted to the hospital and underwent facial surgery in the guise of swathi’s husband.
However, the police told that the parents of the deceased started doubting that it was their son due to behavioral differences and complained the police as they noticed odd differences in Rajesh such as refusing to take mutton soup and registering in the hospital as a vegetarian which they told their son was clearly not.
Police’s doubt also escalated after Swathi frequently changed her statements due to which they persisted with their interrogation and Swathi finally broke down and confessed that the person was not her husband and then admitted of the crime and revealed the incident.
