Bangkok zoo displays controversial 'orangutan boxing'
The supposed good-natured show has been criticised by animal rights activists.
(Web desk) - A zoo in Thailand known as ‘Safari World’ has angered animal rights activists across the globe for displaying ‘orangutan boxing’ for amusement of the visitors.
A video posted on the YouTube shows two apes standing in the boxing ring. In addition to the two apes mock-fighting, other oranguatans are made to dress up in bikinis holding ring cards.

The animal rights organization has termed this bizarre show as animal abuse.
A PETA spokesperson told The Daily Mail that often the incentive for these animals to perform is painful punishment, including electric shocks, cigarette burns or beatings if they do not obey in training.
