Karachi: 900 bags of sugar found in a truck on Northern Bypass

Police has recovered 900 bags of sugar from a truck on the Northern Bypass.According to Sarjani Town police, the patrolling party stopped a truck and searched it, and found 300 bags of sugar in it. Police inquired for official documents for this consignment from the driver; however the driver was unable to provide it and so all these 300 bags were taken in to police custody and driver was also arrested. During the investigation, driver also revealed that there are another 600 bags in a storage place in Glushan-e-Zehra. Police raided that place and found 600 more bags which were also taken in to custody.
