Did "NASA confirm six days of darkness in December"?
A similar story took over the internet in 2014 as well
(Web Desk) – A fascinating ‘news story’ circulating online these days claims sun will not rise for at least 6 days this winter and that there will be total darkness across the earth. If you were too quick to believe this is happening and scared yourself with phrases like ‘winter is coming’, you need to know this is not happening.
The story claiming there will be ‘six days of total darkness’ is falsely attributed to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and is nothing more than a hoax.
This false story is not new. An exact similar story emerged last year as well and then turned out to be nothing more than a hoax originating at a satirical website.
