Summary Car crashed into a petrol station, flipped over twice and landed on top of a bus stop.
CINCINNATI (Web Desk) - The unknown driver hailed a passing taxi and disappeared, leaving his vehicle wedged on top of the bus stop bench.
He did this after climbing out the passenger window, seemingly unharmed in the dramatic crash. The taxi, which just happened to be driving past, stopped for the crash driver, but then appears to drive off after he tried to get into the rear passenger seat.
The incident happened early Saturday at the GPX Gas and Phone Exchange in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Thanaa Bassette, the owner of the petrol station, said that neither the driver nor the taxi driver has been seen since the crash, and that she is working with local police. The crash did $5,000 (£3,260) worth of damage to her premises, Ms Bassette said.
The Cincinnati Police Department said the investigation is ongoing, and the matter is being handled by the traffic unit.
