Skateboarding bulldog becomes internet star
Biuf, a skateboarding bulldog, has become something of an internet star in Peru.
PERU (Web Desk) – Skateboarding is not just for the two-legged, as demonstrated by a group of English bulldogs and their determined owners in the Peruvian capital Lima.
Biuf, a skateboarding bulldog, has become something of an internet star in Peru, developing quite a fan base with thousands visiting his YouTube and Facebook pages.
The bulldog rose to online notoriety in the South American state after his owner Ivan Juscamaita taught him to skate.
Mr Juscamaita now coordinates Saturday practices his pet and other bulldogs.
"All the bulldogs who follow Biuf on Facebook come and get together, we have fun, we get on the skateboard and practice the sport," he said.
Juscamaita said he has plans to formally open a legitimate skateboarding school to teach other dogs and use the profits to help dog shelters.
