CALIFORNIA (Web Desk) - YouTube has rolled out a major upgrade for users, enabling viewers to watch and listen to videos in their preferred language through expanded AI-powered auto-dubbing.

According to international media reports, the platform has significantly scaled up its automatic dubbing feature, which now supports 27 languages.

Users can select their desired language in settings, and whenever a dubbed version is available, the video will automatically play in that language.

The update marks a major shift in how global content is consumed, allowing instant accessibility across language barriers from the moment a video begins.

One of the most notable additions is “Expressive Speech,” a new AI technology designed to preserve the original creator’s tone, emotions, and speaking style.

The goal is to eliminate flat and mechanical voiceovers that often diminish the quality of dubbed content.

Currently, Expressive Speech is available for translated videos in English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, with more languages expected to be added soon.
