YouTube introduced new features
(Web Desk) - YouTube, a popular platform, recently introduced a range of new features and improved its design.
A blog post says some of these features are for the web version, while others work on the smartphone app and Smart TV software.
These updates include Press 2 (2X) to double video speed by pressing and holding your finger on the video.
There's also "Thumbnail Preview" for larger thumbnail views, primarily for smartphones and tablets.
"Screen Lock" prevents accidental touches from interrupting your video. "Stable Volume" ensures consistent sound levels in videos.
The library tab is now called "You," bringing playlists, downloads, watched videos, and purchases together in one place for web and mobile users.
The post says these features will be available to users in the coming weeks.
YouTube is also actively developing more features and redesigning the YouTube Kids app.
