Digital currencies fall in domain of federal government: statement
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – In a major blow to efforts to bring cryptocurrency in the country, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to dissolve crypto advisory committee.
According to statement issued by Directorate General of Science and Technology (DoST), digital currencies fall in domain of federal government so the decision regarding cryptocurrency and its mining will be taken by the Center.
The statement further said that Advisor to CM KP for Science and Technology Ziaullah Bangash, who headed the committee, has also resigned.
