Huawei introduces humanoid 'Titan' robot at InnovTech Mauritius 2019

MAURITIUS (Dunya News) - The 2019 edition of the Innovtech opens its doors to the public this Tuesday (September 19) where Huawei introduced a humanoid robot named Titan.

According to Communiqué de Presse, one of the highlights of this 2019 edition is a humanoid robot on the Huawei booth. Huawei expressed, “We are happy to invite Titan, the robot to Mauritius at InnovTech 2019". 

Titan can be used throughout the world as animation in trade shows, conferences or other events. In fact, it is a semi-robot as two operators control it, one inside takes care of the movements of the legs while a second remote control the head, the hands and the sound.

Titan came at the event speaking, “My name is Titan. I am honored and privileged to be invited by Huawei to InnovTech Mauritius 2019".

Mr Zhouyi, Managing Director of Huawei Device Department, said, “We are happy to invite Titan to Mauritius. We welcome the Mauritian people to come here and take pictures with Titan".

Huawei posted on Facebook that "The #TitanRobot stuns, compels and empathically reels in an audience with the power of 5G".
