From its design to processor, the laptop is built completely in a new way. The Area-51m features the company’s new Legend industrial design and has a more rounded look.

The laptop’s thin beezles gives it a modern and lustrous look whereas its display resolution tops out at 1080p.

Comparatively light in weight - 8.5 pounds - the Area-51m is constructed using a magnesium alloy that ensures the system retains its rigidity.

Interestingly, it comes with plenty of customizable lights underneath the keyboard.

What is more fascinating than having desktop chip that you can swap out with any compatible desktop CPU in the future? Well! Area-51m comes with this feature.

Moreover, it has a replaceable graphics chip but you ought to need a special adapter for that.

In terms of actual components, the base Area-51m comes with an 8th-generation Intel (INTC) Core-i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, an Nvidia (NVDA) RTX 2060 graphics chip with 6GB of RAM and a 1TB storage drive.

But if you want much more then you might want to opt for the Area-51m with a Core-i9 processor, 64GB of RAM, an Nvidia RTX 2080 with 8GB of RAM and 2TB of solid-state storage.

To avoid warming up your lap or meltdown of your desk, Alienware has equipped the system with a slew of cooling components. There are a series of large vents on the rear and sides of the Area-51m to push out hot air, and a giant intake vent on its bottom to pull in cool air.

Add in copper piping and fins, as well as two giant fans, and the Area-51m should stay relatively chilly during your longest gaming sessions.
