(Dunya News) – Load shedding is one of the biggest problems faced by the masses in Pakistan, especially during summers. However, there is now an alternative which is not only the environmentally safe but also economically cost-effective.
Solar panels are now deemed as one of the best and efficient ways to generate electricity by providing power to electrical equipment of the entire household, and that too, without any hassle.
Especially designed to preserve solar energy, the panels convert sunlight into electricity throughout the day.
These panels have made their way into Pakistani market, where many households are adapting to clean, efficient and cheap solar energy. Solar panels are now available in various qualities and powers. Investing in buying solar panels depends on the electricity requirement. For a small house, panels can cost around Rs. 6,000 while for a bigger house it can cost around Rs. 60,000.

According to engineers, installment of solar panels is a hassle-free investment that pays off for a lifetime.
“There have been no issues that we have faced after installation of solar panels and we even hardly feel there is load-shedding,” said one of the individuals using solar panels.
To light up an entire household, suggested solar panels range from 300MW to 500MW in which fans, lights, AC, fridge, television and other electrical applainces can be operated.
Although the initial installment of solar panels costs roughly around Rs. 100,000, but once functional, the panels can save up a lot of money, which otherwise is spent on electricity bills on a monthly basis.

Solar panels are not only environmentally friendly but also light on the pocket.
Speaking to Dunya News, solar panel sellers said that, “For our customers, the biggest benefit of using solar panels is that these have reduced the amount of money spent on paying bills.”
