(Web Desk) – Apple is to introduce a bright red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus with aluminum finish this month in another bid to fight AIDS.
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition signifies apple’s partnership with Red for over ten years to spread awareness against the disease that claims thousands of lives.
In a statement issued by Apple, the manufacturer stated: “Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”

The exclusive edition is going to be available in two varieties, 128GB and 256GB. It should be noted here that regular iPhone 7 and Plus are available in markets in 16GB and 64GB varieties.

iPhone SE (Special Edition) is going to sport a 4-inch display.

“The special edition iPhone joins the current (PRODUCT)RED lineup, which is available for customers to purchase year-round, including the full iPod line of products, Beats Solo 3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones, Beats Pill+ Portable Speaker, the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case and a range of accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” the press release stated.
The limited edition product is going to hit the stores on March 24 and customers will be able to order it online as well.
iPhone 7 and 7 plus were launched by Apple in September last year with an exception of Indonesia. The Apple product is slated for release in Indonesian markets by the end of this month.
