'Robot Reporter' makes debut in China
Inspire is not the first robot reporter to get a job.
(Web Desk) - China Xinhua News group has hired a robot ‘Inspire’ as an intern reporter.
The robot reporter covers two annual session for Xinhua. It is 1.2meter tall and less than one year old. It has been jointly developed by Xinhua and techn firms in Shanghai and Beijing.
The robot is tasked with collecting big data and doing interviews of famous personalities.
Inspire is not the first robot reporter to get a job. In January, Chinese media outlet Southern Metropolis Daily published its first report written by robot reporter Xiao Nan.
