'Mysterious music on moon': NASA reveals shocking 1969 audio tapes

Dunya News

NASA has released the audio of the mysterious music heard by scientists on the other side of moon

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has on Monday released the audio tapes of the ‘mysterious music’ that the scientists of Apollo-X heard on the other side of the moon in 1969. The sound that the music makes is like that of a loud whistling, making ‘Whoooo’ sounds.

According to details, NASA has released the audio recordings from May 1969 today that confirm the music that the NASA space scientists on Apollo-X mission had heard back then while on the dark side of the moon, when their connection with the Earth was cut off for about one hour.

The information wasn’t made public for decades. In 2008, however, NASA revealed that the scientists on the mission had heard some mysterious sounds and weren’t able to comprehend what they meant or were. They scientists also appeared to be confused whether to even talk about the sounds that they were hearing or not, since they could have been declared unfit by NASA for being unstable, hearing strange sounds.

An excerpt from the transcript of the conversations released by NASA in 2008 can be seen here:

Today, the actual audio record has also been declassified by NASA and a whistling sound can be clearly heard in the background. While the explanation given by NASA is a quite simple one, which says that the sound being made was actually of the radio signals on the command module were colliding with those of lunar module and that produced the sound.

However, Al Worden, a reputed astronaut, is not convinced with the explanation given by NASA. He believes that “if there was something recorded on there, then there s something there."
