CALIFORNIA: (Dunya News, Web Desk) - World’s largest social media website Facebook went down this (Friday) evening leaving hundreds of millions of users guessing. With over 1.23 billion users across the globe, the error message displayed on the website sent shockwaves across the internet world.
The users were getting an error message saying “Sorry, something went wrong” and that the website administrators were working on it.
Facebook had gone down globally just before 5 p.m. GMT. According to some sources, the website was taking down its gift sending option which is why it had gone down.
Though Facebook was back on shortly after going down but by then, the termporary error had made headlines across the globe.
