A petition has been filed in a Session Court here on Saturday, seeking confiscation of assets owned by former skipper Shoaib Malik, Dunya News reported.The application against Shoaib Malik was moved by advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry in which it is stated that Shoaib Malik was omitted from the World Cup squad on suspicions of corruption; he said that all his assets should be confiscated the completion of inquiry. The appeal also claims that the value of Shoaib Maliks assets is higher than any cricketers income. However Additional Judge Mehr Mohammad Yousuf has issued a notice to the concerning police officials for providing a response regarding this plea.
